Tribute Video For My Lhasa Apso Dog Roxie

Tribute Video For My Lhasa Apso Dog Roxie

It was always my intention to create a tribute video for my Lhasa Apso dog Roxie when the time came where I had to say goodbye to her, especially since I did a similar video for her brother Chester. After many hours of going through countless photos as well as video footage, I finally put together a hopefully entertaining clip that I cut down from 13 minutes to 9 minutes.

I must say that this project was emotionally exhausting since losing Roxie was still quite recent resulting in a major change in my home life which I’m still finding quite tough after almost 19 years. But this project also made me aware just how fortunately I was to have Roxie as well as her brother Chester in my life. We had so many happy and fun moments that hopefully this tribute video shows. In hindsight, I only wish I could have started my dogs with certain activities like the many dog hikes on nature trails with the friends when they were puppies. They could have gotten more years with busy social lives which would have added even more to their lifestyle. But what is done is done. I did my best and hopefully it was enough for both Roxie and Chester to want to reunite with me again in the afterlife.

The tribute video shows magical moments in Roxie’s life from her puppy days all the way through to her final days. Of course it would be great if people out there watch this video but even if hardly anyone ends up watching it, I’l be fine with it as this was a project that was a labour of love for me. I had to do it.

Now it is finally done and ready to share with the world. Perhaps it will give people, especially folks who are not pet owners, a bit of an understanding why Roxie and her brother Chester were so important in my life. I don’t have a loving family of my own so they were my family and home life for many years. If you do end up watching it, I thank you.
