Youth Motivational Speaker For Middle School Students

For the past several years since I introduced a motivational speaking program called “Creating Awesome Futures” for youth and teens, I’ve always limited it to the high school age level. But recently, I’ve been requested to do a possible speaking program for a middle school which in Ontario, Canada is for grades 6 to 8. After some thought and consultation with the middle school teacher who inquired about this possible program for their students, I decided to modify my teen motivational program for this slightly younger audience.

The result was less emphasis on effective communication skills which I recently added to the Creating Awesome Futures program and added an extended part of bullying (and anti-bullying). I felt that the communication skills techniques were a bit too advanced for the preteens but an expanded bullying section would be extremely welcomed by any organizers of events for this younger age group.

Strong Bullying Messages Added To New Youth Motivational Program

I for one was bullied on a regular basis when I was a kid from about grades 1 through to about 6 so I can identify with those being bullied at school right now.   Although the bullying stopped for me at least from about grades 7 and on ever since I started taking up martial arts, I’ve always witnessed other kids getting bullied at school throughout high school and even adult bullies in the workforce when I was in my working career.

I’ve seen what usually happens to bullies throughout the years and I must say that it’s not a great future they have if they continue to be bullies as they grow older.  So hopefully strong real life messages about my observations and personal experience with bullying will have a strong impact on this preteen audience.
