Antiracism Song To Be Released On Spotify

I posted about Unity Power Force to begin a lot of activity on social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Although Unity Power Force had established pages on these pretty well right from the start when their official website was launched, we were not that active on them yet until now.

The reason for this sudden increase in social media activity is that we are learning how to reach more people as well as to keep connected with those who are already exposed to us. We want to do this because Unity Power Force will be releasing our antiracism song In Harmony on major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music.

Although we already released studio and lyrics versions of In Harmony on Unity Power Force’s own separate YouTube channel, we want to get In Harmony on platforms where most people are now listening to music which are on Spotify and others. The sound quality will always be the best on these music streaming platforms since the audio is not compressed as it is on YouTube. This means that you can hear the low and high ends of the sound spectrum in music much better on Spotify compared to on YouTube even though there’s no visual. The sound quality on Spotify will be equal to that of your CDs.

Music Streaming Demographic On Other Social Media Platforms

Most ‘boomer’ and other older demographics who are still listening to music mainly on CDs (and perhaps other media like cassettes or vinyl records) have populated Facebook while the younger demographics who tend to stream music online on Spotify and do not buy or use CDs are on social media like TikTok as well as Instagram. Since In Harmony and all our other upcoming music will be coming onto Spotify and other music streaming platforms, we need to reach that younger demographic.

This is not to say that we’ll be ignoring our current audience at Facebook and those of you who have been regular readers at this website as I’ll continue to have a presence here but more of the social media activity, especially the new short and reels videos will be concentrated on TikTok and Instagram. Unity Power Force just cannot rely on the older demographic on Facebook to get on Spotify and other music streaming platforms to listen to our music especially when they are not even users of these platforms (unless we can convert them).

So it’s more of an expansion of our audience reach more than anything else. In the next coming weeks I’ll try to talk about how current non-users of music streaming platforms like Spotify can get on with free accounts and start listening to not only new music but most of their old favourites that go back decades as most commercially released music are already on Spotify – and I did mention that there are free accounts.

In the meantime, keep this date in mind which is when In Harmony will be released on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and other streaming platforms;
