Famous Motivational Speakers

Do you know any famous motivational speakers? If you are in tune with self help and personal growth, you might know Dr Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Anthony Robbins, Jim Rohn and others. But for most of the general public out there, particularly school students, I bet that the vast majority of people would not be able to name even one motivational speaker.

Sure, actors and athletes will come pretty easy to many people but for some reason, motivational speakers have not really become mainstream. This might not be a good thing for my new chosen career as a business motivational speaker myself but that’s okay. This is because I know that when I do my talks, I am helping many people in the audience without being famous.

Maybe No Such Thing As Famous Motivational Speakers

Perhaps there is really no such thing as famous motivational speakers in this world. Maybe some are well known, at least within certain circles like the self help and personal growth markets but outside of these areas, motivational speakers become pretty unknown.

In a way, this is a bit of a shame because in my honest opinion, motivational speakers can add a lot more value to people’s lives than many of the athletes and so called celebrities out there. Good motivational speakers have gone through some rather painful experiences to emerge as champions. Along the way, lessons were learned and these same lessons can help others. How often can tabloid celebrities do that?

Maybe I’ll never become a name when some school is asked whether they know any famous motivational speakers. But that’s okay as long as there are people out there I’m still helping in terms of adding value to their lives just as many motivational speakers like Les Brown and Anthony Robbins have done for my own life.
