Exotic Tropical Bird Park Parque Das Aves In Brazil
After my visit to Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side, I went to an exotic tropical bird park called Parque das Aves which is right across the road from the Iguazu Falls visitor center. I already had my advance ticket for this added tourist attraction so was able to skip the ticket line on site.

The bird park is well organized with a one way trail that goes through different pavilions where tropical birds of similar species and/or those that get along well together are. In addition to these beautiful colourful birds, there are also some other animals like turtles, fish, small Caymans (like smaller crocodiles) and even butterflies.

My favourite bird there and one of my highlights from my entire trip to Brazil was this one toucan who was obviously not shy with people. I was able to get very close to this little fella for some nice photos and video.

Since Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side usually takes only half a day to see, Parque das Aves is a great addition right after the falls visit and is as easy as walking across the road. If you like colourful exotic tropical birds then you will love Parque das Aves. The video with my travel commentary is below but as with my other Brazil videos, I made a version with these birds without commentary which I added to my webpage of new music videos from Brazil.
After seeing all the birds, I simply walked across the road to the bus stop for the local bus #120 to take me back to Foz do Iguazu. After seeing Iguazu Falls on both the Brazil and Argentina sides, my final stop in Brazil was Sao Paulo.
