I’ve been highly involved with Toastmasters for a few years including serving as President of my home club for one and a half years since its charter. The usual term is for one year so I have already served longer than most. I will not be seeking re-election to any club officer role for the next Toastmasters term since it is time for others to lead. There are lots of great leadership development opportunities with Toastmasters club officer roles and it’s time to let others experience this. Also, I have to put in the time that my professional speaking career deserves which will often take my time away from Toastmasters.
