Short Inspirational Stories Blog

As a motivational keynote speaker, I always advocate getting exposed to many different sources of motivation to keep you inspired (this takes us back to my very first episode of Motivational WebTV).  One of the ways I do this to keep myself inspired by others is through blogs out there.  Many of you already know that I use a program called Google Reader to easily follow the blogs I track on a daily basis and recently, I’ve added another one called Think Simple Now.

Think Simple Now was created by Tinu Su, a Canadian (probably a ‘CBC’ or Canadian-born Chinese like myself), living in Seattle, Washington.  Tina, pictured above, created this blog in 2007 and it has since attracted a huge following online.

Think Simple Now is a bit different from other personal growth and development type of blogs.  The posts on this blog are like a collection of short inspirational stories.  However, they are not stories of famous people that you or I would have heard off.  Nor are the posts instructional in nature (like many of my own articles are).

Blog Posts Very Self Reflective In Nature

Instead, the short inspirational stories on Think Simple Now are very self reflective in nature by real people including staff writers from the blog as well as guest authors.  They are about experiences that people have gone through which made them take a darn good look at their own lives in some way.

Any useful lessons from these self reflections are then shared with the readers.  It’s an interesting and refreshing way to present some valuable life lessons to readers.  This is why I’ve added this blog to my Google Reader.

If you are not familiar with this program I’ve been using to follow the blogs I like, I have a nice video tutorial on Google Reader that will show you how I use it to keep track of all the blogs I follow on one single webpage.
