Of course, it’s a lot more than an awareness program since it also goes deep into the benefits of diversity as well as developing the skills that would be useful in diverse working environments both internally and externally.
It’s nice to bring out awareness of diversity and multicultural issues but that’s not enough. To be an effective seminar, we must also cover the ways to develop the diversity skills that people can use with others within their organizations and companies as well as externally with customers and others outside the organization.
My half day seminar program which is three hours long, is like my keynote ‘Kick Down Diversity Barriers For Success’ on steroids or turbo-charged. There are much more opportunities for discussion and actually doing various group activities to develop diversity skills that normally cannot be done within the usual one hour keynote.
