Personal Management Should Be Taught At School

#personalgrowth #selfhelp —-  One of the tasks I strongly advocate is reviewing your personal goals and plans on a regular basis.  I talk about this in my book ‘The Life Champion In You’ as well as during my motivational keynotes.  In fact, I do this review as part of my own personal management at the beginning of each month.

Since I like to make the best use of my time, I decided to do this month’s personal review while I was waiting in the auto shop while getting my car tires switched from snow tires to summer ones.  For some reason when I was going over my progress on all of the areas of my life that I was working on, I thought about all the people out there who do not have plans for their lives.  They are really missing out on living life to peak potential if they don’t have any personal management system for themselves.

I even wondered why such important skills are almost never taught to us as kids.  This led me to believe that personal management should be taught at schools.  We are all responsible for our own personal management and if nobody teaches us such important life skills, how can we expect to get the most out of life?  No wonder why many people feel that they can do better in life but have no idea how to improve themselves.

We should not allow our lives to be managed by others since the most effective personal manager for us will always be ourselves.  So ask yourself, do you have an effective personal management system in place?  If not, then it’s time to learn about this area through books and seminars on self improvement and personal growth.
