Motivational Diversity Speaker Reading SPIN Selling Book

As a motivational diversity speaker, I believe that it is important to keep on learning by regular reading.  The book I’m currently reading is a sales book called SPIN Selling by Neil Rackham.  I actually have had this book sitting on my shelves for a few years unread but recently caught it listed as one of the top five sales books to read.  So I decided to put it back on my reading list.

Now, you might think that books on selling may not be applicable to you if you are not in a sales career.  But think again, because EVERYONE SELLS.  If you are an entrepreneur, you have to sell to clients and customers no matter what industry.  If you are in a career, you have to get your ideas across to others at your company and get them on your side – that’s selling.

So a lot of people can benefit from learning a bit more about the psychology of good selling techniques.  I’m about halfway through SPIN Selling it’s pretty good.
