Short Motivational Quotes

Here are the pick of short motivational quotes posted on my Motivation Facebook page for September week 3.

“Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows.” ~ Michael Landon

“What is the use of running when we are not on the right road?” – German Proverb

“Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.” ~ Truman Capote

“Respond intelligently even to unintelligent treatment.” ~ Lao Tzu

“It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.” – Berkeley Breathed

Out of the above short motivational quotes, the last one by Berkeley is quite intriguing.  It makes us think about our own childhoods but also suggests that even if we are already adults, we can still have enough play in our lives to remain young at heart.  Indeed, I even did a past episode of Motivational WebTV that talks about the Importance Of Play in our lives.  Check it out if you never saw it.

Here are the other short motivational quotes I posted last week.

“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” ~ Oprah Winfrey

“In the end, the choice you make makes you.” – John Wooden

“Man needs difficulties, they are necessary for health.” ~ C.G. Jung

“The tree of wisdom is watered by tears.” – Swiss Proverb

“Make rest a necessity, not an objective. Only rest long enough to gather strength.” – Jim Rohn

“Every day you miss playing or practicing is one day longer it takes to be good.” – Ben Hogan

The two short motivational quotes above by Jung and the Swiss proverb both suggest that we have to have some challenges and hardships in order to grow as people.  So next time we are faced with such difficulties, remember that they are there for our own personal growth.
