Addition To Inspirational Websites

I’ve added a really neat blog to my collection of inspirational websites that I’m following.  It’s called Dumb Little Man and I just love the name!  It was started by Jay White of Illinois and it’s a terrific blog with articles on increasing productivity, saving money, keeping motivated and much more.   There are even articles on health, fitness and even cooking sometimes.

Jay is from the sales field and I can certainly relate to why he started Dumb Little Man.  As a former professional in the pharmaceutical sales field myself, I can appreciate the need to be motivated, productive and efficient, especially for sales professionals out there who often have to work alone.   Facing tough customers with multiple objections is not for the faint of heart.

However, I think the articles in this blog much like with other inspirational websites, will help out lots of other people who are not in sales as well.  Anybody who would like to improve in their lives would benefit from this Jay’s blog, especially now that he’s got a team of contributing writers to supply a variety of articles.

I’m seeing a lot of useful and practical advice in the articles found in Dumb Little Man.  For example, some of the recent articles have touched upon such topics as running side businesses even with a day job, how to make hard work easier, changing your life with books, dealing with difficult people (this is an extremely useful topic) and more.

Use Google Reader To Follow Inspirational Websites

If you use Google Reader or a similar program to follow blogs, it’s very easy to add the RSS feed for Dumb Little Man.   If you missed it, see my Video Tutorial On Google Reader for the example steps to take to do this with any blog.  This program saves me a lot of time since I can scan all the new posts from the blogs I follow on a single webpage rather than having to go into each blog separately.
