Unique Among Toronto Motivational Speakers

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

#toronto #motivationalspeaker —  One of the things that make me unique among Toronto motivational speakers or Canadian motivational speakers (maybe we can even say global motivational speakers) is that I will probably always have a martial arts weaponry component during my live talks.

It was a natural thing to do since martial arts weaponry is such a big part of my life.  Martial arts weapons in general seem to be able to dazzle audiences much more than just martial arts without them for some reason so I will definitely utilize them as much as possible.

Fortunately, I can use them in ways that it’s not just for show.  I use them in strategic parts of my talks where they can help illustrate key important principles for achieving life success.

I , Clint Cora, am the only one who has to lug around long martial arts weaponry with me to talks.  No other Toronto motivational speakers have to carry such items around but that’s okay because this is what helps set me apart and more importantly, it helps to keep my audiences entertained.

Audiences around southern Ontario whether it’s a company, professional association or community service club have been seeing me carry my blue bag which holds my martial arts weaponry around, sometimes mistaking them for pool cues or fishing rods until I take the actual weapons out of the bag.

If you see an Asian guy wearing a suit carrying around a long blue bag in and around the greater Toronto area, that’s probably me going to another live speaking event with my trusty props.  You won’t find any other Toronto motivational speakers like that walking around.

So if your group is thinking of bringing in Toronto motivational speakers and would like the added bonus of a guy swinging his martial arts weaponry around on stage, call me up and maybe yours truly, Clint Cora, will be coming to your meeting with a long blue bag.

Working Hard To Pump Out More Motivational Videos

#motivational #motivation #inspirational #inspiration

I’m going to be shooting my third new episode of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV this week sometime this afternoon which will be a record for me. The most I’ve ever shot during one single week was two when I was in San Diego during my mini-speaking tour there. And for those two, I didn’t completely edit them during that week either but for this week, I’m actually going to try and completely edit all three episodes as well.

I started out with my first poolside episode earlier in the week followed by one in my home office using a few props. The third episode will also be indoors but will showcase some of my art collection at home to illustrate something about diversity.

After this third new episode, I will have a nice cushion of about five new episodes of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV waiting to be released online. I think that I feel quite comfortable with about a month’s worth of new motivational videos ahead of time.

My poll about whether to turn my monthly Motivational Quotes Success Newsletter into a video is going nicely – thanks everyone for your votes. I will keep it open until the end of next week when I have to decide what to do for the September issue. If you haven’t yet cast your vote, just go to the text versus video post for details on what this was all about.

As for the videos, I’m still learning about shooting and editing as I produce these.  I know that sometimes I can do a bit better with the lighting or sound but hopefully at least the messages of each episode comes through okay.

I’m going to work hard to keep pumping out those motivational videos for you as we now have a global audience from over 30 different countries now watching.  Thanks so much everyone for watching and if you know others who can benefit from Motivational WebTV, please let them know about it.

Effective Solution For Procrastination

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

#personalgrowth #personaldevelopment #selfhelp #selfimprovement

As you know, one of the major obstacles that we all have to get through in order to achieve success of any kind is procrastination.  We all have done it at one time or another.  To procrastinate or just keep setting things aside will delay us big time in reaching our life goals.

So the next episode of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV especially dedicated to procrastinators everywhere and hopefully offers an effective solution for procrastination.  This is one of two episodes that I shot while in southern California for my mini-speaking tour there a few weeks ago.  This first episode from California also happens to show some nice Pacific Ocean coastline and beach scenery for your viewing pleasure.

If you know of anybody you love and care for who happens to be a chronic procrastinator, please forward this video/blog post to him or her.  Hopefully, it will give that person or persons some good insight and what would be required to finally discontinue being a lifelong procrastinator.

This is episode number 12 from my Clint Cora Motivational WebTV series and I hope you have enjoyed the different shows so far.  If you missed any, just go to the WebTV Archive where each episode is listed.  The most current episode will always be on the homepage of my website as well.

If you have any comments about any episode of Motivational WebTV, feel free to leave them at the comments section below this blog post, at my Motivation Facebook page or at iTunes if you view the WebTV series from there.

I hope you will benefit from the effective solution for procrastination I offer in the current video.  I want to help as many people as possible around the world with this Motivational WebTV series so if you do know of people in your personal and professional network who could benefit from the life lessons and reminders in these episodes, please let them know about them.  Let’s build a community and share!

A Fun Plug For Motivation Video TV Show

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

#motivation #motivational #success #selfhelp  –  Here’s a really fun plug for my motivation video TV show by Andrew Mallouk of Orangeville, Ontario.  This is the second video clip featuring him and his classy tuxedo look.

Note that he emphasizes that the Motivational WebTV show as well as many other resources at my Clint Cora website are absolutely free.  These are free motivation reminders that can be helpful to all of us since we all need them on a regular basis.

If you think you don’t need motivation to achieve success, think again next time you catch yourself on a bad day.  Again, no matter how successful we already are, we still need motivation regularly.

Motivation video such as my show provides regular doses or infusions as if they are vitamins to help you grow.  I need them too so these shows are just my part in contributing to the community.

I will be trying to fire up the frequency of new episodes this summer for sure.  There will be some surprises too as I take advantage of interesting sets and locations that I come across.  Also, any other entertaining video footage I get from events I attend may be incorporated into Motivational WebTV as I report on location.

I do encourage feedback and comments after each new episode (as well as past shows that you can view at the motivation video archive).  Comments can be posted in three different locations.

1) At the comment section after each blog post

2) As a comment on my Motivation Facebook page.

3) At the comments section at iTunes for Motivational WebTV

As always, the most current episode is posted on the home page of my Clint Cora website as well as on the multimedia webpage there too.  If you like any of the episodes, please let your friends know about them so that they can benefit too.  I hope my motivation video show will help as many people out there as possible.

A Few Places To See All Motivational Videos

Friday, July 16th, 2010

#motivational #inspirational #motivation #inspiration #selfhelp

Now that I’m going to try and produce new episodes of my Clint Cora Motivational WebTV series, past episodes of course will be put in an archive area for people to see any ones they missed or want to see again.  In fact, there will be a few different places to see all past motivational videos.

The first place is the motivational tv archive listing at my website.  This webpage will have links to all past shows.

Another place to see all past episodes is through the Motivational WebTV category right here on this blog.

If you are a user of iTunes, all of the shows are also listed there.  Just go to iTunes and do a search for ‘clint cora’ and you will see a few different channels for me.  One will be the motivational videos one and that’s the one containing all episodes of Motivational WebTV up to date so far.

For Facebook users, all episodes will be uploaded to my Motivational Diversity Speaker Facebook page (not my personal Facebook page).

So there you go.  Four different places to see the complete listings of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV episodes for your educational and entertainment viewing.  If you enjoy any of the episodes, please let your friends know about them so that they can enjoy them as well.  It’s a good thing to share useful content with others.

Each episode on any of the above mentioned platforms has an area where you can post your comments.  I want to make this a community and welcome comments from around the world for these motivational videos or anything else I post up here.

I want to make this place a good place to go to whenever you need a dose of motivation or even when you are bored with nothing to do.

You’ll See New Motivational Video Next Week

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

#inspirational #motivational — I hope you enjoyed the last episode of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV which showed the highlights of the Carassauga festival here in my hometown of Mississauga, Ontario. Believe it or not, the next few episodes have already been shot and edited.  In fact, you will see a new motivational video come out next week.

I’m going to produce new episodes of Motivational WebTV at breakneck speed this summer since my speaking schedule doesn’t rev up again until September.  Shooting and producing new episodes of my motivational video series will give me much needed breaks from my book writing projects which can be rather tedious.

I’ve got all sorts of neat ideas in the works for new episodes and I can’t wait to get them shot.  They will all be educational and entertaining.  Although I’m not going to make any definite promises but I will actually try to launch a new show each week.

Don’t worry if you miss the odd episode because they can all be viewed again at your convenience at the Motivational WebTV Archive.  Watch them in any order you want or any titles that might interest you.  And if you have any comments, please feel free to leave them at the end of my blog posts or right on the Facebook page.

If you have any particular questions for me, just send them along either as a blog comment or at my website contact page.  If I feel that it’s a question that others would like to see answers for, I’ll either make a blog post out of it or even create a whole new motivational video based on the question and answer.

Just as a heads up, you will see a few water based episodes of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV later on this summer including some underwater scenes that will blow you away!  So stay tuned for them!

Carassauga Cultural Festival Highlights – Motivational WebTV #11 Multicultural Diversity

Monday, July 12th, 2010

#cultural #multicultural #diversity #mississauga #toronto

I went to two different cultural festivals this weekend to get my diversity fill, one called Carabram in the neighbouring town of Brampton and the Mosaic Festival which showcases south Asian cultures here in my hometown of Mississauga.

At the Carabram multicultural festival, the highlight for me was attending the Myanmar pavilion since I was especially invited by my friend Ame who was a volunteer there.  I got to learn about her country’s development over the years and how people like her decided to leave the country formerly known as Burma due to the unstable political military government.  It was very interesting to hear about such stories from somebody who experienced these firsthand.

There will be cultural festivals pretty well each weekend here in the Mississauga and Toronto area all summer long but the event that started the season off in my opinion is the big event back in May which is Carassauga.  Carassauga is an annual huge multicultural festival which showcased over 60 different countries.

Below are many video highlights from Carassauga this year in the latest episode of Clint Cora Motivational WebTV since I tie in cultural festivals with diversity.

Multicultural festivals like Carassauga are one of the most effective diversity tools because they help people bridge cultural gaps with each other.  Being exposed to each other’s cuisine, arts, music, dance and other cultural components only help to gain understanding and appreciation of each other’s differences.  This is important in diversity.

As you can see from the video highlights, Carassauga was a very entertaining three days here in Mississauga and for the $10 admission fee all weekend, it can’t be beat.  I made a point of attending every single pavilion to get exposed to as many different cultures as I can in the name of diversity.

If you don’t have any such multicultural festivals where you live, maybe you can help organize one even if it’s on a much smaller scale compared to Carassauga.  This gives people who are different, a chance to expose their cultures in a positive way and for all others to learn.

I hope you enjoy the Carassauga cultural festival highlights and I welcome any comments below.  If you missed past episodes, see them at the Clint Cora Motivational WebTV archive.

Shooting Short Inspirational Clip At Toronto Fringe Festival

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

#fringe #fringefestival #inspirational #inspiration

One of my friends from Montreal, Tali Brady, is performing a solo show at the Toronto Fringe Festival this week.  I originally met her through Toastmasters clubs which I have been known to speak at.  Performing in theatrical plays was a natural extension of the skills Tali picked up at Toastmasters.  I’m going to downtown Toronto to catch her show called ‘Afternoon Tea With Jane Austen’.  I have no idea what her play is all about but have no doubt that it will be interesting for sure especially since it’s an original play she developed.  I will also shoot a short inspirational video clip by interviewing her after her performance.

This interview along with some quick moments of her in action during her play (she already gave me permission to do this) will be for a future episode of my Clint Cora Motivational WebTV series.  I will of course tie this into a short inspirational life lesson for that episode.

This will be the first time that I feature another person in my Motivational WebTV show but it certainly won’t be the first.  I have ideas of others who would also be great for my show and some are already eager to come on.

I don’t see Tali that often since she’s based in Montreal so this is a great opportunity to get her on video while she’s in town here in Toronto during the Fringe Festival.  It will be a real treat for viewers of Motivational WebTV as non-celebrity (for now) people are out there doing some really awesome things in life and my show will hopefully capture some of these to share and inspire everyone else through short inspirational clips.

The most current episode of Motivational WebTV of course is always at the home page of my official Clint Cora website and at the time of this blog post writing, it is the one with my martial arts karate bo staff weapon.

Will Tie In California Beach To Self Help Personal Management

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

#california #selfhelp  – I came back late last night from my southern California mini speaking tour.  Almost missed my first flight from LAX to Baltimore with one minute before they closed the gate since the hotel messed up airport shuttle schedules.  But both myself and my luggage made it on.  After the usual crappy airport meal, I caught my connecting flight back to Toronto.  I did spend some time in transit to review video footage I shot while in the San Diego area and believe it or not, I’m going to be able to tie in the California beach to self help personal management principles.

In fact, one full episode for Clint Cora Motivational WebTV is already edited and ready to go but it will be another month before it will be released since there are other episodes in line waiting to be launched.  I usually like to have at least two full episodes ahead of schedule these days.  In the meantime, below is a screenshot from the future episode with the Pacific coastline.

I also took extensive video footage of the USS Midway aircraft carrier which has since been turned into a floating museum in San Diego.  Again, I will tie this into an interesting self help personal management topic in yet another future episode.

It’s too bad that I didn’t bring cameras or camcorders across the border to Tijuana, Mexico where I was for an afternoon.  I was hesitant to bring any gear due to safety concerns but looks like I would have been able to after all since during the daytime, there were lots of pedestrians everywhere.  Too bad as I would have been able to turn some interesting shots into yet another episode of Motivational WebTV, maybe with a diversity angle.

The next main item of self help personal management will be the July issue of my Motivational Quotes Success Newsletter which I did write while in California this past week.  Make sure that you sign up as a free subscriber at the blog sidebar or the Free Stuff tab on my Facebook Motivational page in order to get it at the beginning of July.
